Our first Boudin Barndance of December after being off last week. It was a night of a little of this and a little of that. We saluted various birthdays including Freddie Boom Boom Cannon, Little Richard, Floyd Tillman, Tom Waits, and more. For the Waits salute, we also played a few from the recent all-female tribute album. Played a few from Jon Langford who along with Jean Cook plays the house tomorrow night. A few new releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time including Kelly Pardekooper and Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters. Buttshaker of the week???? From down Bayou way, Lester Robertson with “Everybody Wants to Know.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
