School back in session at URI and The Boudin Barndance also back in session for our first edition of September. New and recent releases from ladies dominated the first two sets before our usual C&W half hour. We winged it the 2nd half of the show, but managed to fit in September Gurls and close out with a mess of blues, both new and old. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from Tanya Tucker, The Quebe Sisters, Leslie Stevens, Anna Egge, The Rails, Penny & Sparrow, Chris Gantry, The Commonheart, Robert Randolph, and Bobby Rush. Buttshaker of the week???? Can we deny Groovey Joe Poovey with “Move Around”? Yes we can!
