After a week off, it was back into the Boudin Barndance saddle tonight for an evening of tunes. We mostly mixed it up over the course of the evening, however, in honor of the Velvet Crush reunion shows going on for the last week we did go out on a power pop note. New stuff makin’ it onto the Barndance hit parade for the first time included new albums from Tim Easton, Jim Lauderdale, Jade Jackson, Joseph Huber, Chuck Hawthorne, and Ex Hex. Buttshaker of the week???? Birthday boy Johnny Seay with “Drownin’ in My Sins.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
