A varied Boudin Barndance radio show this evening. We did do a mini birthday set in honor of the late Townes Van Zandt just after the weekly listings. We followed that with what may become a periodic feature we’re possibly calling “An album you need to hear.” In the spotlight tonight was Side A of Lee Hazlewood’s 1968 album “Love & Other Crimes.” Before that, it was an hour of mostly new releases to begin the show followed by our weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Rose City Band, Kristina Murray, Pug Johnson, Cash & Skye, Guy Clark, Jim White & Trey Blake, and Jim Wurster.
