After holiday shows and looks back at 2020, we got back to the business of a fairly regular Boudin Barndance this evening. We did begin playing a few more from 2020 during the first hour before moving into our weekly C&W set where we caught up on all kinds of birthdays. The final hour started with recent and new things to the Barndance playlist from 2020 & 2021 including Jeremy Pinnell, Charley Crockett, The Flat Five, Suitcase Junket, Matthew Sweet, Scott H. Biram, and a new Richard Hell & The Voidoids reissue. We concluded the show with a couple of tunes in remembrance of Sylvain Sylvain of N.Y. Dolls fame. Buttshaker of the week???? The Mavericks takes the prize this week with “Cuand me Enamoro.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or three, and get to the goods….
