The final Boudin Barndance of January was a busy one. In addition to airing out some new releases and our weekly C&W segment, we put the spotlight on two new albums, a reissue and the other a historic collection of sorts. The reissue receiving focus was the re-release of NRBQ’s 1980 album Tiddlywinks out tomorrow courtesy of Omnivore Recordings. Our other spotlight was the latest edition to the Bob Dylan Bootleg series from Columbia Records. Volume 17 called Fragments focuses on the Time Out of Mind album featuring a remix of it along with alternate tracks and live recordings of its songs. New singles and albums making their Barndance debut tonight came from Whitehorse, JD Clayton, Don Flemons, Pony Bradshaw, Wednesday, Kevin Morby, John Fizer, and NRBQ and Bob Dylan. Buttshaker of the week???? Birthday boy Doug Kershaw with “Cajun Joe.” Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
