A chilly night in these parts, so hopefully you snuggled up to the radio and listened to The Boudin Barndance. Mostly a mix-‘em-up affair this evening with a little of this and a little of that. We did close out the show with a set in remembrance of drummer Joe Camarillo who passed away unexpectedly last weekend in Chicago. Joe drummed for numerous Chicago-based entities including the Waco Brothers, Dollar Store, Skull Orchard, and more. He was a big sweetheart of a guy and will be greatly missed. New and recent releases making their Barndance debut tonight included music from Buck Meek, Janet Simpson, Hiss Golden Messenger, Thunder Dreamer, Call Me Spinster, and A.J. Croce. Buttshaker of the week???? In honor of Joe C., it is a lost Dollar Store track, a cover of the UFO song “Shoot Shoot.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or three, and get to the goods….
