Just what we need, a little surf and old school r&r to relieve those mid-winter blues. That’s exactly what we delivered during the 2nd half of The Boudin Barndance this evening with our somewhat annual mid-winter surf & rock & roll party. Have to say those two-minute songs wore me out! The 1st half of the show was standard Barndance, new releases the during the first hour followed by our weekly C&W installment. New music making its Barndance debut tonight included releases from The Burnt Pines, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, The Triptides, Lucero, and Mac Leaphart. Buttshaker of the week???? It was a tough one, but we give it to Mike Waggoner & the Bops with “Basher #5.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or three, and get to the goods….
