What with tomorrow marking the 3rd anniversary of his passing, it was Prine night on The Boudin Barndance this evening as devoted the final hour of the show to all things John Prine. Opened the show with primarily new releases the first hour followed by our weekly C&W segment, and then an odds & ends lead-in to the Prine hour. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut on this evening’s program came from Jess Williamson, Ward Hayden & The Outliers, Say Zuzu, and Chickasaw Mud Puppies. Buttshaker of the week???? Birthday fellow Jim Stringer with his take on “Rebel Rouser.” Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
