Once again, I want to thank all who contributed to our WRIU Radiothon two weeks ago. As for tonight, we continued our Alt country A to Z feature with the focus on “K” artists from the prime period of the alt country movement (mid-80s to early aughts). We also remembered John Prine what with this week marking the anniversary of his passing. All of that was in addition to the weekly hour of new releases and the weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut this evening came from the Tennessee Freedom Singers, Louisa Stancioff, Larry Campbell & Theresa Williams, Junior Sisk, Alejandro Escovedo, and Andrew Gabbard.
