This evening, we kicked off the next 35 years of The Boudin Barndance. We’ll see about that! It was an evening of playing the field. We did feature multiple tunes from Luke Winslow-King who plays a show in the area on Sunday and the late Big Joe Turner who would have been celebrating a birthday this week. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut tonight came from Mavis Staples & Levon Helm, The Black Keys, Nicki Bluhm (single), Drunken Prayer, Arlo McKinley (single), Will Stewart (single), Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Darlene Love.
