We continued the “home” editions of The Boudin Barndance radio program on this gorgeous evening on the East coast. Remembered a couple of greats at show’s ed: Little Richard who we lost just within the last few weeks and Big Joe Turner who would have celebrated a birthday this week. Before all that, it was our usual Barndance mix. New albums making their Barndance debut tonight included those from Steve Earle & The Dukes, and Jamie Wyatt. In fact we opened with a set of new releases from New West Records who have cranked them out since the COVID hit. Buttshaker of the week???? A rare tie between Little Richard with “Keep a Knockin’” and Big Joe Turnre with “Roll ‘em Pete.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or three, and get to the goods….
