Music from the Tiffany Music transcriptions circa 1946-47 by Bob Wills & the Texas Playboys as found on the new collection called Way Out West from Real Gone Music was in the Boudin Barndance spotlight tonight. We closed the show with a bunch from the collection. Prior to that, it was our usual mix-‘em-up affair. We also did a mini Newport Folk Festival Folk On! preview. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut tonight came from John R. Miller, The Winnie Blues, GA-20, Rosie Flores & the Talismen, John Hiatt with The Jerry Douglas Band, and Ida Mae. Buttshaker of the week???? Birthday boy Sleepy LaBeef on a 1957 Starday cut called “Little Bit More.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or three, and get to the goods….
