The usual busy Boudin Barndance radio show this evening with lots of new stuff and old, including the weekly C&W segment. We featured tracks from the new album from local trio The Whelks called “Reverse Mermaid.” The band plays an album release show at Nick-a-Nee’s in Providence on Saturday at 5 pm. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut tonight came from Kevin Gordon (big thumbs up!), Why Bonnie, The Cactus Blossoms, Kasey Chambers, Sunny Sweeney, Justin Trevino, George Strait, Rebecca Frazier, Kelly Mickwee, and The Whelks.
