A very full night on The Boudin Barndance tonight. We continued our Alt Country A to Z feature with a focus on the “E” artists tonight. The series focuses on the heyday of the alt country movement from the late 1980s to the very early aughts. We remembered the guitar slinger and songwriter Mike Henderson who passed away on Sept. 22. Prior to that, it was the usual new releases the first hour followed by our weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut tonight came from Brent Cobb, Charles Godwin, Jenny Owen Youngs, Ryan Bingham, Turnpike Troubadours, Eli Paperboy Reed, and Jonah Tolchin. Buttshaker of the week???? Merrill Moore with “Cooing to the Wrong Pigeon.” Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
