A very abbreviated Boudin Barndance this evening due to a URI Men’s Basketball broadcast, so we made the best of the 45 minutes we had. The birthdays of two of my heroes, Gram Parsons and Doug Sahm, are this week so did a mini set from them to close out the short show. Prior to that, we featured a bunch of new stuff with tracks from new albums from Billy Bragg, Buffalo Nichols and Hayes Carll and singles from upcoming albums from Jake Xerxes Fussell and Dakota Theim. Buttshaker of the week???? There was no buttshaker tune tonight. Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
