Because we are pre-empted by URI basketball next week and will not have a show, tonight’s program, or at least the last hour, was the holiday version of The Boudin Barndance. We played a mix of the familiar and not-so-familiar stuff from the world of holiday music. Our first hour was a mix-it-up affair followed by our weekly C&W segment and then another set of playing the field with mostly a Louisiana edge to it. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight and all were of the holiday variety came from Titus Andronicus, David Causey & Jay Smith, and Brit Taylor with Mike from Mike & the Moonpies. Buttshaker of the week???? Birthday boy Charlie Rich with “Finally Found Out.” Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
