Record Store Day, April 18, 2009
Just a reminder that the 2nd annual Record Store Day (www.recordstoreday.com) is happening this year and it all goes down on Saturday, April 18. As far as music
lovers go, ask me and I’ll say record stores are still the lifeblood of music.
Make it a point to get to one of the participating stores and throw some
money down preferably on some vinyl, but CDs are okay for you non-turntable
types. A lot of stores are planning special events and a lot of labels are
issuing special products to denote the event. I’m particularly excited
about a vinyl collaboration between The Numero Group, Daptone, Light in the
Attic, Vampi Soul, etc. Check out
