A bunch of stuff on The Boudin Barndance agenda this evening. We concluded our look at new recordings from 2011 (Part 3). We also looked at a few reissues/historic collections from 2011 that hit the Barndance sweet spot with the two-fer reissue from Memphis band Limes on Goner Records taking the cake. Finally, we remembered drummer Tom Ardolino of NRBQ fame who passed away last Friday by closing out with a whole set of tunes from the ‘Q. Buttshaker of the week???? NRBQ, of course, with “Smackaroo”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
