Another of those odds and ends evenings on the Boudin Barndance. We did preview music from tomorrow night’s show at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA with Dave Alvin & His Guilty Men and James McMurtry & the Heartless Bastards. It’s sold out. A bunch of albums making the Barndance hit parade for the first time, some a bit belated. They included new or recent releases from Joe Goldmark, Brett Dennen (playing Century Lounge in Providence on Feb. 8), Lucero, and the comeback album from The Alarm Clocks. Buttshaker of the night???? Bodeco in a runaway with “Holy Rollers Rockin’ in a Killin’ Machine”. Now onto the goods….
