A restless evening on the Boudin Barndance. It all began with a remembrance of The Day the Music Died, music from Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, & The Big Bopper kicking us off. With Mardi Gras around the corner, we went to a set of Louisiana/New Orleans stuff. We also placed the Barndance spotlight on the new E.C. Ball memorial album Face a Frowning World. New stuff getting aired on the Barndance for the first time included recent releases from Findlay Brown, Shannon McNally, Patty Griffin, Clem Snide, & Tony Denikos. Buttshaker of the week???? The late birthday boy Johnny “Guitar” Watson with “Reuben”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
