I’m beginning to get a little tired of winter, but it did not stop the Boudin Barndance from feeling its oats this evening. On the agenda tonight, a remembrance of the late Hasil Adkins who will be inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame on Saturday. We spent the last 25 minutes samplin’ his wares. Now that would’ve been the ultimate house concert. Once again we gave away tix for Shelby Lynne & Allison Moorer at the Greenwich Odeum on Feb. 9. And all that was just the tip of the iceberg. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from Wade Bowen, Craig Gerdes, Cliff Westfall, John Oates, Paul Luc and Van William. Buttshaker of the week???? Joe Clay with a slayer, “Ducktail.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
