An odds & ends night on the Boudin Barndance this evening. Gave away a pair of tix to Commander Cody’s show at The Knickerbocker Cafe in Westerly on Saturday evening. Broke out some 45s that I picked up at last week’s R.I. Record Show. A bunch of releases receiving their inaugural Barndance spin this evening including new ones from Graham Parker, Carolina Chocolate Drops, The Chieftains with Ry Cooder, Girl Howdy, Jason & The Scorchers, Strange Boys, Adam Green, South Memphis String Band, and Ernie Hendrickson. Buttshaker of the week???? A 7″ slab of gospel shake with Sister Lucille Pope & the Pearly Gates bringing the goods on “Get Back Satan”! Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
