A pre-snowstorm Boudin Barndance on another Thursday evening here on the East coast in Rhode Island. 6-9 inches coming tomorrow and possibly a foot next week. WTF! Well, we aimed to put folks out of their misery in a good way on tonight’s show. We floated around from new to old to birthdays and features. Of the latter, we shined the Barndance spotlight on the reissue of Kris Kristofferson’s album The Austin Sessions which recently has seen reissue on Rhino. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from Sunny Sweeney, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, Rodney Crowell, Bill & Joel Plasket, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, and Rhiannon Giddens.
