A mixed bag night on the Boudin Barndance this evening. We remembered C&W hero Hank Locklin with a couple of his big hits. Also paid tribute to the 40th anniversary of Sir Douglas Quintet’s Mendocino album with a couple from that record. Lots of new releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time. They included new ones from Black Joe Lewis, Eric Lindell, Bill Frisell (best of), Seth Walker, Buddy & Julie Miler, and Pa. Dutch Country greats Frog Holler. Buttshaker of the week???? Sammy Ward with the Motown single “Don’t Take It Away”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods……
