The last Boudin Barndance of March was a momentous occasion with plenty on the plate. Gave away tickets to Roseanne Cash’s The River & the Thread show happening in Providence on April 10. We remembered Tom Spanic, the father half of Spanic Boys fame who passed in Milwaukee a few weeks ago. They made some awfully pretty music. Lots of new releases hitting the Barndance hit parade for the first time. Included were albums from Margo Price (the critical raves are deserved), Dave Insley, Violet Delancey, Lily & Madeleine, Penny & Sparrow, Star & Micey, Ben Harper & the Criminals, Jack O & the Sheiks, and Eric Bachmann. Buttshaker of the week???? Johnny Horton is a runaway with “The Electrified Donkey”. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
