The first Boudin Barndance of April was a busy one. We featured music (and
gave away tix) for shows for several artists coming into the area next
weekend, namely The Flatlanders and Tift Merritt who play at the Narrows
Center For the Arts (www.ncfta.org) in Fall River, MA on April 10 & 11,
respectively. The latest release from The Numero Group called “Local
Customs: Downriver Revival” focusing on the doings at Felton Williams’
Double U Sound studio in Ecorse, MI was in the spotlight at the end of
tonight’s program. It’s a good one. A bunch of new things making their
Barndance debut this evening. They included new ones from Dallas Wayne,
Wayne Hancock, Mojo Gurus, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Deano & The Meat Purveyors
(FREE album downlaod at www.deanowaco.com), KaiserCartel, and Angela
Easterling. Buttshaker of the week????  Ron Haydock & the Boppers take the
big salami with “You’re Running Wild” (and not to be confused with the
Louvin Brothers’ hit of the same name!). Now let’s all grab a cold one and
