Mostly an odds & ends program on tonight’s Boudin Barndance. Radiothon zapped a lot of energy last week, so we just spinned ’em tonight. Remembered a couple of heroes on the upcoming anniversaries of their passings, that being Hasil Adkins and Johnny Thunders. Lots of new stuff getting their first Barndance spins this evening. This included new ones from Merle Haggard, Jim Lauderdale, Paul Curreri, The Tallest Man on Earth, Mary Gauthier, Harlan T. Bobo, Storyhill, Christine Ohlman, Trombone Shorty, Wye Oak (much belated), and a new 7″ from Ty Segall. Buttshaker of the week???? Little Booker from ’54 with “Hambone”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
