The Boudin Barndance kicked off its 30th year salute to itself tonight by doing a regular old show. We’ll do another regular old one next week, too. Not much for features, just a mix-‘em-up affair tonight. We did do one of our periodic blast-from-the-alt.country past sets, a thing we started back in January. Lots of new and recent releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time including albums from Chris Stapleton, John Moreland, Aaron Burdett, Kenny George Band, Lesley Kernochan, Anders Parker, Shannon McNally, Leroy Stagger, Daniel Romano, Pokey LaFarge, and Rev. Seikou. Buttshaker of the week???? Birthday guy Jimmie Dale Gilmore with “Mobile Line” is tough to top. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
