We welcomed the duo The Believers to the program this evening. Making their
first trek to the Northeast, they are out touring behind their brand new release
“Crashyertown”. We mixed live stuff with tracks from the new record while also
chattin’ up a storm. Releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first
time included a Johnny Paycheck gospel collection from Koch, Hayes Carll, a
Classic Southern Gospel compilation from Smithsonian/Folkways, Maria McKee, Mike
Barfield with another big dose of soul, and Two Tons of Steel. Buttshaker of
the night???? The Rumblers with “A-Go-Go”. Now onto the goods…..
