After a week off for a little music fest action, The Boudin Barndance was back in action on this sparking and cool night in Southeastern New England. It was mostly a mix ‘em up kind of show. We did do another ticket giveaway for the Green River Festival (www.greenriverfestival.com) in Greenfield, MA which we highly recommend you all check out. Also previewed John Doe’s show happening on Tuesday night at Café at Parlor in Newport, RI. New releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time included albums from Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, Elizabeth Cook, Miss Tess, Derik Hultquist, Leland Sundries, and Luke Bell. Buttshaker of the week???? Cecil Moore and the Diamond Backs take the grand prize with “Stormy”. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
