Rain, rain, please stay, so people can hunker down on a Thursday night and savor The Boudin Barndance. At least, that’s what we hoped happened tonight. It was a fun. A couple of mini multiple birthday spins for the likes of Charlie Feathers and Howlin’ Wolf. Now that’s some singers! Last night’s Son Volt show at Pearl Street in Northampton inspired our last hour, a dip back into the alt country of 1990s and early aughts save for the Lydia Loveless set kickoff track.
