Ushered in the long weekend tonight with a 3-hour dose of American music.
Remembered Jimmie Lee Fautheree (of Jimmy & Johnny fame) who succumbed to cancer
earlier this week. His new album just out on Deke Dickerson’s Eccofonic Records
is a real good one. Also remembered the late Keith Whitley on his birthday
today. Only a few releases making thier Barndance debuts tonight including the
swan song recordings from Floyd Tillman and Dave Kirby each on Heart of Texas
Records and the new one from Cary Hudson. Buttshaker of the night????? “Banana
