Another week of playing the field with a big tent of sounds on this evening’s Boudin Barndance. Sprinkled in a bunch of new releases over the course of the evening including albums from The Time Jumpers, Melissa Ruth & the Likely Stories, Tift Merritt, Dwight Yoakam, Murder by Death, and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. And it being September and me being a big Big Star fan, could not resist playing “September Gurls.” Buttshaker of the week???? Jon Spencer Blues Explosion with the big womp on “Bag of Bones”.
