Yet another beautiful Thursday evening and hopefully The Boudin Barndance was part of yours. Other than a brief preview of Ray Mason who is at Sandywoods Farm on Friday night and Shelby Earl who plays a house show hosted by yours truly on Saturday night (and we can squeeze a few more people in), it was a night of playing the field and breaking out new releases. On the latter front, new ones from the Dave Rawlings Machine, Holly Golightly, Donnie Fritts, Wood Brothers, Andrea Zonn, David Myles, Bottle Rockets, Webb Wilder, Edward David Anderson, The Pollies (big thumbs up!), Lucero, and Downpilot all made the Barndance hit parade for the first time. Buttshaker of the week???? Going to give it to Holly Golightly with a cool little shaker called “Catch Your Fall”. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
