The 1200th Boudin Barndance was a fun one. Odds and ends for the 1st half of the program. We kicked the evening off with a Bloodshot set focusing on a bunch of the new things from that venerable indie (with exception of Charlie Pickett tune). The the 2nd half was mostly devoted to a preview of the 3rd annual Super Dooper Guitar Party happening on Saturday at the German Club in Pawtucket, R.I. We welcomed the fellow spearheading the event, The Colonel himself, Johnny Maguire, to talk up the evening which is equal parts music event and guitar show. Headlining this year all the way from the Green Mountain State is The Starline Rhythm Boys in a rare, non-Vermont appearance. Doors open at 5 pm.
