A busy night on the Boudin Barndance this evening. We previewed music from Wanda Jackson who appears in the area on November 4 at The Towers in Narragansett (www.thetowersri.com). Also on the bill are The Lustre Kings and The Stumbleweeds. On the 15th anniversary of his passing, we remembered Roger Miller this evening. New releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time included recordings from Jake Hooker, Eilen Jewell (EP), Chip Taylor & Carrie Rodriguez, Levon Helm, Dan Israel, Will Kimbrough, and Seth Walker. Buttshaker of the night????? In the Halloween spirit, Jackie Morningstar with “Rockin’ In the Graveyard”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods…
