After a month of dead air on the FM dial, The Boudin Barndance was finally transmitting loud & clear at the 90.3 position on the FM dial tonight. Hopefully that dead air crap is all behind us now. We played catch up on a bunch of new things tonight as well as previewed a bunch of live stuff upcoming in the these parts over the next week. We remembered country songwriter Curly Putnam who passed over the weekend. He had a hand in some monster country hits. Played the field a bunch, too. New and recent releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time on tonight’s show were from Justin Peter Kinkel-Schuster, Alejandro Escovedo, Julia Jacklin, Adam Torres, Jack Grelle, Dexateens, Silas Lowe, The Lazy Suns, and Adrian & Meredith. Buttshaker of the week???? Butt groove is more like it thanks to Natural Child and “Nashville is a Groovy Little Town.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
