A straight-up Boudin Barndance tonight. No bullshit, just tunes galore as we spread the wings and played the field with some birthday salutes and live shows plugs thrown in. The most prominent feature was a Vic Chesnutt birthday remembrance. New releases are rather scant this time of year, but we did debut recent ones from local hero Frankie Ranks, Paulo Franco, and the Tim Lee 3. Buttshaker of the week???? Birthday boy the late Onie Wheeler with “Booger Gonna Getcha.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
