Maintaining Thanksgiving evening tradition here at Boudin Barndance Central,
we presented our 10th annual salute to the music of the late Doug Sahm on
tonight’s program, devoting the entire three hours to the music of the Texas
Tornado. (And like I say each year, three hours can’t do it justice.)  For
those who missed our annual tribute, I’m hoping it will be up on our archives
page in the next few weeks. Buttshaker of the night????? Going back to the
early soul/R&B days in San Antonio, the instrumental “Whirlaway” gets the
nod. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods…
