Continuing the Boudin Barndance Thanksgiving evening tradition, we presented our 15th annual salute to the music of the late Doug Sahm on tonight’s program, devoting the entire three hours to the music of the Texas Tornado. (And like I say each year, three hours can never do it justice.) Arrived to the studio and it looked like a bomb hit it. The lack of any working turntables, not to mention the in-studio computer in reboot mode the entire night definitely cut in to some planned surprises, however, we persevered and hopefully delivered the goods good enough for y’all. Buttshaker of the night????? “Sapphire”! Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods…
