The Boudin Barndance radio show was back tonight after a Thanksgiving preemption for URI Men’s basketball which we gladly welcomed given the holiday. Top on the agenda this evening were remembrances of some departed heroes in the country and rock & roll worlds, that being Mel Tillis, Billy Mize, and Tommy Keene. Also previewed some live shows coming up in the area this weekend along with the usual this and that. In other words, your usual unpredictable Boudin Barndance. New and recent releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from Mavis Staples, Joan Shelley, Nick Garrie, Paul Kelley, Wilco (AM reissue), Fred Wickham, Cut Worms, The Dream Syndicate, and the new Bloodshot Records Xmas compilation.
