Local hero MARK CUTLER on The Boudin Barndance next week (Dec. 12) to play live and preview his new record.

An abbreviated Boudin Barndance this evening due to a URI Men’s basketball broadcast. We packed in as much as we could in what time we had. Did a mini preview of Mark Mulcahy who plays a very sold-out house concert hosted by yours truly on Saturday night. Also previewed shows by Loves It (Tuesday night at AS220 in Providence) and The Mallett Brothers (Friday night, Ocean Mist in Matunuck). New releases making their Barndance debut this evening included albums from Brandy Clark, The Howlin’ Brothers, Jonny Kaplan, and Terry Manning. Buttshaker of the night????? Paul Burch with a cool little shaker called “Couldn’t Get a Witness”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods…
