One of those nights on The Boudin Barndance where we could’ve gone another couple of hours as the tune ideas were flowing freely. A mix ’em up night with a heavy jonesin’ for the loud stuff. We did a preview and ticket giveaway for Nick Lowe’s “Quality Street” Holiday show with Los Straitjackets in tow happening at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA on Wednesday night. Even though so late in the year, some new and recent releases made the Barndance hit parade for the first time this evening including albums from Whitey Morgan & The 78s, Stoney LaRue, The Kinks Musswell Hillbillies reissue, and the An Americana Christmas compilation. Buttshaker of the week???? In the holiday spirit, Nick Lowe with “The North Pole Express”. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
