June 11 – Album You Need to Hear feature
The first Boudin Barndance of June featured a preview of the upcoming Swamp Stomp music festival produced by yours truly and happening on June 13 here in Rhode Island. It will be a fun one. Prior to that, it was the usual first hour of mostly new releases followed by the weekly C&W segment and then some more new stuff before the SS preview. We finished with a short set of odds and ends. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade this evening came from local hero Charlie Marie, Sera Cahoone, Shakey Graves, Laura Veirs, Willie Nelson, Deer Tick, Jobi Riccio, Cat Clyde, Paul Cauthen, Gary Stewart, and Bill Kirchen.
