What the heck are we doing on the air tonight? For the first time in 10 years, The Boudin Barndance was on the air and not at SXSW. We prefer 30 degree temps and 30 mph gale force winds to 70-degrees and music and free beer everywhere. Are we crazy? No doubt, but we gave this week’s Barndance our all, as usual, and hopefully you were able to listen in. Ticket giveaways galore tonight for upcoming shows from Dave & Phil Alvin (tomorrow night at the Narrows in Fall Rive)r, Kacey Musgraves at Lupo’s on March 27, and Diamond Rugs at the Met Café on March 28). Also, in honor of the world premier of the Sir Doug doc at SXSW this evening, we featured a few from the SDQ. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from Anna & Elizabeth, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Leo Welch, Willy Porter, Sarah Gayle Meech (big thumbs up!), Kevin Deal, The Mavericks, and Mark Edgar Stuart.
