A Boudin Barndance like any other Boudin Barndance this evening: a restless playlist that found us all over the map. A couple of features tonight: Sarah Borges’ show in these parts on Saturday evening and a 2nd preview of music from some of the artists appearing at the upcoming Rhythm & Roots Festival here in R.I. happening on Labor Day weekend. Tonight’s focus was on some of the Friday performers. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from the Scud Mountain Boys, Moreland & Arbuckle, Darden Smith, Robbie Fulks, John Moreland, Tedeschi-Trucks Band, Austin Lucas, Thriftstore Masterpiece, and the new Buddy Emmons tribute called The Big E.
