Heat wave day number who knows, but it couldn’t stop The Boudin Barndance tonight. Hopefully you found a cool place to listen. On the agenda was a remembrance of Mississippi bluesman T-Model Ford who passed away this past Tuesday in Greenville, MS. T-Model is remembered in these parts for playing a very memorable show in 2009 as part of of annual Swamp Stomp music fest. He charmed the ladies and turned the backwoods of West Kingston, RI into the Mississippi Hill Country for an evening. In addition to that feature, it was mostly a mixed bag of stuff on tonight’s program. New releases making their Boudin Barndance debut included albums from Mike Stinson, Joe West & the Santa Fe Revue, Kenny Roby, Shelby Earl, and Kid Congo & the Pink Monkey Birds.
