With temps hovering in the low teens and Southeastern New England in a deep freeze, the M.O. of The Boudin Barndance was to warm spirits. Surf, garage, blues, C&W and the usual mixed bag hopefully did the trick. A preview of the Susan McKeown show at the Common Fence Point Community Hall in Portsmouth on Saturday and an album feature of the recent 3-CD Eddie Noack retrospective from Bear Family Records were the features this evening. We also continued to roll out a bunch of new & upcoming releases including albums from Jimbo Mathus & the Tri-State Coalition, Carrie Rodriguez, Adam Green & Binki Shapiro, Kelly Willis & Bruce Robison, Kris Kristofferson, Richard Thompson, and Samantha Crain.
