We began the next 25 years of The Boudin Barndance this evening. Equipment rather haywire in the ‘RIU studio, but we got it together. The main feature was a conclusion of our Record Store Day purchase features by closing out the show with a bunch of sides from the Stax 45 RPM RSD box from Light in the Attic. Other than that, lots of odds and ends. Releases making their Barndance debut this evening included new ones from Willie Nelson, Tom Armstrong, O’Brien Party of 7, Bap Kennedy, Simone Felice, John & Exene, and Audrey Auld. Buttshaker of the week???? Fro the Stax box, Rufus Thomas with “Itch & Scratch Vol. 1”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
